A homecoming will be celebrated at the historic Baker House in Wildwood.

The event will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 15 at the historic home located at 6016 County Road 44A in Wildwood. The event will include self-guided tours from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The Historic Baker House, located at 6106 County Road 44A, was built around 1890 by Sen. David H. Baker and donated to the City of Wildwood in 2012.

Built around 1890 by Sen. David H. Baker, the 1,200-acre property was home to five generations of Bakers. It was donated to the City of Wildwood in 2012 after much of the acreage had been sold to The Villages for development.
