To the Editor:
People really need to know how HOT the sidewalks are this time of year. It’s 96 but feels like 102. Take your shoes off and walk barefoot on the concrete. That’s what your pets feel. Call and ask your vet how quickly animals get heat stroke. Not a wise decision. Leave them home. Drive them to a park with grass. Think about this. Talk to your vet!
