Melissa Gwen Knight, 58, of Lady Lake, Florida, passed away peacefully in her sleep on January 8, 2024, due to long-standing health complications.

Melissa was a strong and persistent person. She always had optimism and hope for the future, no matter what obstacles she faced. She loved God and always had her Bible open at her bedside. She put her life in His hands and is now at peace in His arms.

Melissa is survived by her mother, Patricia; sister, Jamie; her sons, Cody and Travis; her nephews, Bradley and Josh; and her 4 grandchildren, Hailey, Hayden, Wyatt, and Jackson. She loved her family more than life itself and appreciated all of the friends she made throughout the years.

Per her wishes, she will be cremated and her ashes will be spread at a to be determined date and location.
