Barbara Jean Treat passed away peacefully in Summerfield, FL on September 2, 2024, at the age of 83. Barb was born in Canandaigua, NY where she grew up with her 4 siblings, graduated from high school and then went on to graduate from cosmetology school in Rochester, NY. She had a shop on Main Street in Canandaigua for several years.

Barb lived in Florida for the last several decades and with her loving companion Larry Beach Cunningham during the past 26 years. She loved entertaining and their time on Lake Weir.

She is survived by brothers Jimmy (Carol) Townsend, Dale (Mary) Townsend and sister Loretta (Bob) Case, daughters Tammie (Pat) Hicks, Brenda Esty, Gail (David) Schenk, seven grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Barbara is predeceased by her parents, Margory and Richard Townsend and brother, Sonny.
