Richard Moses, 73, of Summerfield, Florida passed away December 9, 2024 at Malcom Randall VA Medical Center Gainesville, Florida.
He was born on July 14, 1951 in Martins Ferry, Ohio to Richard Moses Sr. and Janet. L. (Coutts) Moses. Richard served his country and was honorably discharged from the United States Navy in 1970. Richard enjoyed spending time with family, working and enjoying an occasional drink with friends and family. He enjoyed talking about his heritage being a first generation American coming from his parents’ homeland of Syria. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
Richard is survived by his loving wife Sarah M. Super-Moses; his son; Richard Moses III; daughters; Danielle Griffth, Valorie Mizrahi, Shawna Moses, Richelle Moses, and Jessica Bell. He also leaves to cherish his memories his four stepdaughters; Sarah Bennett, Tami Smyth, Beth Ann Johnson, and Christine Super-Jarrett, loving grandchildren; Kiersten, Kallie, Kel, Veronica, Eli, Camden, Marlee, Talon, Keiarah, Jazmine, Lilly, Vanessa, David, Violet, Maddie, Riley, June and Josephine; 11 step-grandchildren, brothers; Ronald Cooper, and Dale L. Moses.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister.
