
Elena Bumbu made her heavenly journey to be with the Lord on January 23, 2025, at the age of 67 in Wildwood, Florida. She was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother who gave her all to her family and touched the lives of many.
Born on October 6, 1957, in Romania, Elena grew up surrounded by the love of her parents, Constantina and Stephan Tiganu. She later moved to the United States with her two eldest children to reunite with her beloved husband, Gheorghe Bumbu. Together, they built a life filled with purpose and meaning.
Elena was a homemaker and a devoted mother who always put her family first. She exemplified the meaning of sacrifice and dedication. Her greatest joy came from cooking and baking in the kitchen, where she created treats that brought comfort and happiness to everyone around her. Elena’s hospitality was unmatched—if you entered her home, you could be certain she would offer you something within moments, embodying the true spirit of giving.
A remarkable and selfless caregiver, Elena was deeply committed to raising her children and grandchildren. She always sought ways to make a difference in their lives, hoping for nothing but the best for her loved ones.
