Charlotte Johnson, 80, of Fort Myers, formally of the Villages, passed away on January 31, 2025.
Charlotte was born September 2, in Tarrytown, NY to Francis and Godina (Dwinnells) Kunert. Charlotte grew up on the family farm in Hopkinton,NH, later moving to Concord, Bow, and West Alton, NH.
Upon retiring from the State of NH, Health & Human Services, where she worked for over 30 years, she moved to The VIllages, FL. Charlotte enjoyed her many trips with the Red Hat ladies, and playing Bunco and Bingo with her many friends. Charlotte later moved to Fort Myers to be close to family.
Charlotte was predeceased by her parents, her husband Mike Johnson, her daughter Donna Gleeson, and her sister Geraldine Morey.
Charlotte is survived by her daughter Pam and husband Jay Swymer of Fort Myers, FL, her son Kent Johnson of NH, Grandsons Justin and wife Susan and their kids, Garrett Berube and his daughter both of Fort Myers. FL and Nathan Rabbitt and his daughter, and Tyler Sawyer both of NH. She also leaves behind her brother Frank Kunert of Maryland, as well as many other family and friends.
Graveside services will be held at the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL. Services to be determined.
