To the Editor:
Following is an open letter to Director of Recreation John Rohan.
Dear Mr. Rohan,
The Villages has served as a venue for Democrat, Republican, and MAGA events, but using Villages facilities to host a bunch of January 6 convicted felons is an insult to the community.
I’m curious as to why you didn’t select the First Responders Rec Center to hold the event. Or would the irony have been too much.
I hope the contract the MAGA group signed included a thorough post-cleaning and disinfecting of the facility. The stink however, will last long past the event.
