Joseph Francis Gambrazzio, 86, of The Villages, FL, passed away peacefully after a short illness, Saturday, February 1, 2025 in The Villages, Fl.
He was born in Brockton, MA. To Joseph and Lucy (Markella) Gambrazzio. In retirement Joe spent time in Texas and the Cape in MA. coming to The Villages 21 years ago from Carver Plymouth, MA. to make The Villages his permanent home.
Joe had the opportunity to enjoy traveling to many places overseas during his retirement.
Joe was a retired Police Lieutenant with the Brockton Police Dept. He graduated from Brockton High School, then receiving his Bachelor of Science degree from Stonehill College, North Easton MA., and receiving his Master of Arts in Criminal Justice from Anna Maria College in Paxton, MA.
Growing up Joe loved baseball, basketball and going to the movies.
In The Villages he was involved and played softball and water volleyball. Joe was a U.S. Army Vietnam Veteran.
Surviving is his son: Scott Michael Gambrazzio, The Villages, FL.; special friend: Carol and many other family members and friends.
Graveside Services for Joseph Francis Gambrazzio will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, February 28, 2025 at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL. where military honors will be afforded followed by the Catholic Committal Rites.
