To the Editor:
I’m not all excited about Hooters in The Villages. Maybe they have changed, but as a retired professional lady, I do not think highly of scantily clad ladies waiting on me. I have visited a Hooters near Treasure Island in Florida and was not impressed with the menu choices. Yes, I wish I looked like some of those girls but jealously does not play a role in my liking or disliking this sort of restaurant. I always felt proud that The Villages is in a different class which I consider a more upper class. I’m not a snob, but I think this diminishes our reputation.
