
William D. Taylor, a beloved husband, father, and friend, passed away on March 22, 2025, in The Villages, Florida.
Born on August 20, 1950, in Baldwin, Mississippi, Billy lived a life rich with love and laughter that touched the hearts of all who knew him.
Billy was married to his devoted Wife, Jacqueline Taylor for many cherished years.
Preceded in Death By his Father, William E. Taylor; Mother, Iris R. Taylor and Brother, Ronald Taylor.
He is survived by his Sons, William L. Taylor and Michael Taylor; Daughter, Jill M. Parham; Step-Daughter, Kimberly Guzman; Five Grandchildren; His Sister, Teresa Bellamy and numerous cousins.
A proud veteran of the United States Air Force who retired as an L-3 Contractor after many dedicated years of service to his country, Billy exemplified commitment not only in his professional life but also within his family ties. His passion for golf brought him immense joy as he spent countless hours perfecting his swing while enjoying the camaraderie it fostered among friends.
Music was another cornerstone of Billy’s life, a true aficionado of Country Western tunes alongside some Rock classics (especially those penned by Bob Dylan)
Billy also had an insatiable curiosity about ancestry which led him on fascinating journeys into the past.
Services will be held Sunday, March 30th from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Manatee Recreation Center in The Villages, Florida—we invite all whose lives were enriched by Billy’s presence to join us in honoring him through shared memories filled with laughter and love.
