A passenger was traumatically injured after falling from a golf cart in The Villages.
The golf cart was traveling in the golf cart lane at about 8 pm. Friday near Big Cypress Recreation Center when the passenger fell to the asphalt, according to a the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office.
The injured passenger was transported by ambulance as a trauma alert to Ocala Regional Medical Center.
