A Summerfield man was arrested for trespassing after he was found in the shoe section of a Walmart from which he had been banned.
A deputy responded on Sunday to Walmart, located at 17961 S. U.S. Hwy. 441, Summerfield, regarding a previously trespassed person returning to the property, according to an arrest report from the Marion County Sheriff’s Office.
Upon arrival, the deputy confirmed with a loss prevention officer that 36-year-old Derek David Jackson was trespassed from the store two days earlier.
Jackson was sarrested and charged with trespass (fail to leave property upon order by owner). He was transported to Marion County Jail with bond set at $2,500.
