Peggy Ann Bailey, 85, passed away April 16, 2025 in Lady Lake, FL. Peggy was born in Cynthiana, KY on March 5, 1940 to Luther and Mildred Lawrence. She lived in central Kentucky, Chicago, IL, Tampa, FL, and Covington, GA before enjoying her retirement in central Florida.
During her working life, Peggy co-owned a pet store in Tampa, FL, owned and operated the Calloway House restaurant in Georgia, and worked as a pest control technician, among other adventures. She enjoyed sharing her favorite recipes with family and friends and sharing her home with her many dogs and other animals.
She is survived by one daughter, Terri Wyatt, her granddaughter, Karen Wyatt, and several close friends in her Leesburg community. She was preceded in death by two daughters, Julie Bivins and Jesse Stine, her sister, Paula Hopkins, and her grandson, Darrell Davidson.
