A trooper investigating the crash suspected the Hammond, Ind. native had been drinking. She claimed she was under the care of a neurologist for migraines and takes various medications including Ambien for sleep. She later claimed she had consumed a single glass of wine.

Clark struggled through field sobriety and refused to provide a breath sample.

She was transported to the ER in Belleview for medical clearance. After she was cleared, she was taken into custody on a charge of DUI.

A driver history showed she had been arrested in 2015 on a DUI charge.

She was arrested on a charge of driving under the influence. She was booked at the Marion County Jail and released after posting $2,000 bond.
