Jerry Daniel Grisham, 88 years old of The Villages, Florida, passed away peacefully on May 12, 2025.
Born on April 23, 1937, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, Jerry was the youngest son of Carlisle and Marjorie Grisham. Jerry’s father passed away in 1942, leaving his mother, himself and brother Carlisle “Carl” Jr. to move to St. Louis, Missouri to live with family in North St. Louis City on Lee Avenue.
Jerry graduated from Beaumont High school in 1955, playing soccer for St. Englebert’s Parish and baseball in high school. He attended Harris-Stowe college and joined the Army Reserve in 1958. Soon, he would meet the love of his life, Jane Frances Donahue, and they were married in 1964. Together, they had two children, Kathleen Anne and Christopher Eric. Jerry spent over 30 years as a Printer with Local 505 GCIU in St. Louise, before retiring in 1995.
Over the course of his lifetime, Jerry lived in St. Charles County, Augusta Georgia and The Villages in Florida. His life revolved around his family and friends, golf cart rides in the Villages, golf games with his friends and making sure his family was always provided for. Jerry never hesitated to help family, friends or organizations in need. Jerry was a member of many clubs and organizations, including his prized St. Louis club at The Villages, the American Legion and the Lady Lake Chamber of Commerce.
Jerry is survived by his wife of 61 years, Jane; daughter Kathleen (Scott) Nadler; son Christopher (Erin) Grisham along with 5 grandchildren Colby (Monica) Nadler, Cory Nadler, Madison (Sean) McCammond, Andrew Grisham and Daniel Grisham. He also has 4 great grandchildren Levi, Avery, Elijah and Carter. He is also survived by his cousin Virginia Glaser.
He was preceded in death by his parents Carlisle and Marjorie Grisham and brother Carlisle Jr. We have faith that they are reunited as a family in Heaven.
Jerry will be dearly missed by all that knew him, loved him and cherished his unique presence. There will never be another “Jerry”.
