Born on December 27, 1951, in Kansas City, Kansas, Kenny lived a life marked by dedication, hard work, and a deep commitment to his family and community. He was the proud cofounder of Kenell Drywall Supply in Greenwood, Missouri, where he invested countless hours building a successful small business. Through his steady leadership and tireless effort, Kenny helped create jobs and opportunities for many, leaving a legacy of hard work and integrity.

Kenny had a long-standing love for the Lake of the Ozarks, where he spent many years living, fishing, and enjoying life on the water. It was a place of peace and joy for him, filled with cherished memories shared with family and friends.

In his later years, Kenny enjoyed life in the Stonecrest community of Summerfield, Florida, where he spent time with cherished friends and neighbors. He played pickleball regularly and proudly held the title of two-time and reigning cornhole champion—an honor that brought him much joy and good-natured bragging rights.

Kenny is survived by his beloved wife of 31 years, Donna Lynne Hahner; daughter Kalisa; son Chad and his wife Sasha; daughter Leslie and her husband Scott; and son Luke and his wife Kami. He is also survived by his brother Kirk Hahner and Kirk’s wife Carole. He was preceded in death by his parents, Floyd “Bud” Hahner and LoAnn Hahner.

A celebration of Kenny’s life will be held in Summerfield, Florida, at the Stonecrest Community Center on June 19, 2025, from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM, and again in Lee’s Summit, Missouri, at The Gamber Center on Sunday June 29, 2025, from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM.

He will be remembered for his steady presence, generous heart, strong work ethic, quick wit, and the love he gave so freely to everyone around him.
