
Clifton Grover Beasley, 69, passed away in The Villages, Florida on May 22, 2025.
He was born in lake City, Florida on August 23, 1955 to Robert and Julia Beasley. Clifton enjoyed fishing, air boating, working with his hands, and spending time with his family.
Clifton is survived by his wife of 46 years, Patricia “Darlene” Beasley, of Center Hill, Florida; daughters: Bridgette Knighten of Center Hill, Florida, and Tracy Beasley (Kenneth Sapp) of Center Hill, Florida; stepson: Christopher Brown, Sr, of Center Hill, Florida; grandchildren: Sierra, Payton, Mary, Katelyn, Kenneth, Chris Jr, Ashley, Logan, Cadence, and Kennedy; brothers: Preston Beasley (Lisa) and Sgt. George Beasley Sr. (Bonnie). To the remaining surviving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, first through fourth cousins, I’m not gonna hunt you down let along fish for your contact information so’s you’ll get a copy of this document for you to come and see my brother laid to rest… especially the Taylor’s.

He is preceded in death by his father, Robert Beasley, mother, Julia Beasley, sisters, Ernesteen Graham, Lena Collins, and Meritha Beasley, brothers, Rev. Robert Beasley Sr., and Roy Beasley.
A visitation will be held at Purcell Chapel on Wednesday, May 28, 2025 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. with the service being held directly after at 11am. Interment will follow to Tuscanooga Cemetery. Dinner shall be provided following the burial service. This will allow everyone to visit with each other, while sharing each other’s re “Pete”ed stories, or maybe, just maybe, there’s a few, new ones, that’ll be shared over a blessed meal.
