Francis ‘Richard’ Badame, 79, passed away peacefully on May 27, 2025, surrounded by the love of his family.
Richard was a devoted husband to Katherine; loving father to Elizabeth, Teresa, Mary, and Stephanie; and proud grandfather to James, Paul, Sabrina, William, and Andrew. He also loved spending time with his sister Evelyn and her husband Vinnie, his nieces and nephews, and their children. His ever-growing family, whether by blood, through marriages, or friendship, was one of his greatest joys.
He was an entrepreneur at heart – bold, creative, and unafraid to take risks. He lived his life with intention, passion, and humor. But his grandest adventures were often found at the dinner table or on the road, sharing meals and stories with everyone he met. He passed on his love of food and travel to his children and grandchildren, ensuring his spirit will continue to roam the world for generations to come.
We’ll miss his laugh, his wisdom, and the way he could light up a room, but know that he is sharing stories in heaven with his parents Frank and Josephine, his son Richard, his sister Marietta and her husband Joe, and his nephew Frank.
