Carnetta Ann Colerick, born March 6, 1946 in Salem, Oregon peacefully passed May 30th 2025. Connie will be joining her father, Mintford (Rusty), mother Betty Shields, brother Richard Parker, and sister Joyce Wisner. Surviving relatives are Laura (wife of Richard), brothers Burdette and Jeremie Hoelzle from Idaho and Annetta (Nan) Williams, Florida.
Connie played and coached many sports including softball, golf, and bowling. Connie joined the Navy after high school and was active during the Vietnam war. After her tour, she continued in the reserves and retired from the Navy. She then attended college earning a degree at University of Illinois in physical education while working for IBM. After retirement, she traveled around the country with her two dogs visiting several family members and friends. She wintered in Arizona and summered in Idaho and ultimately lived with her sister in Florida.
Connie will be interred at the National Cemetery in Bushnell Florida with full military honors.
