Saddlebrook multi-modal path may finally say goodbye to roots and bumps

Golf carts traveling on the Saddlebrook multi-modal path for years have had to traverse bumps and tree roots.

However, those days may soon be only a bad memory.

The Community Development District 3 Board of Supervisors on Friday agreed to spend $64,783 to mill and overlay the tree-lined multi-modal path which stretches from the tunnel at County Road 466 near Laurel Manor Recreation Center to the Saddlebrook Recreation.

District Property Management acknowledge that residents have complained about the root intrusions and depressions that have made that short stretch of multi-modal path a really rough ride.
