
Patricia Ciccarelli Beloved Mother, Grandmother, and Friend 1945-2025 It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Patricia Ciccarelli, who departed this life peacefully on May 20, 2025, at Serenades Memory Care in the Villages, Florida.
She was a cherished mother, devoted grandmother, loyal friend, and a beacon of strength and compassion to all who knew her. Born in Steubenville, Ohio, Patricia lived a life filled with love, generosity, and quiet grace. Her warmth touched every life she encountered, and her kindness left an indelible mark on the hearts of those fortunate enough to know her. She had a gentle spirit and an unwavering dedication to her family, whom she held above all else.
Patricia was preceded in death by the love of her life, her husband Gene, her brother Gabe, her sister-in-law Diane, and her parents, James and Alice Basil.
Patricia is survived by her children, Allison Vido and Kimberly Mummey, her five grandchildren, Isabella Vido, Madelyn Vido, Chelsea Vido, Ava Mummey, and Ryan Mummey. She is also survived by countless others whose lives she enriched with her wisdom, humor, and unwavering love.
Her presence will be deeply missed but never forgotten. Patricia and Gene spent most of their marriage in Plantation, Florida with their two children. They made numerous friends due to their passion for tennis, bridge, and other games. Patricia had a long and distinguished career in education, including jobs as a math teacher/professor, GED and ESOL teacher, and ending in an Administrative role. Outside of her professional life, Patricia was a brilliant tennis and bridge player.
She was known for her delicious cooking, storytelling, and love for her family. Her personality brought joy to everyone around her. Patricia will be deeply missed and remembered forever as an extraordinary wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend to all who knew her.
A simple memorial service celebrating Patricia’s life will be held in the month of July for family and close friends. Please contact one of her daughters for more detailed information.
Though she is no longer with us, Patricia’s legacy of love and kindness lives on in the hearts of all who knew her. May she rest in peace.
