Ronald Allen Cundiff, 81, of The Villages FL passed away with his daughter, Kelly Cundiff, at his bedside on June 7, 2025, at Harbor Chase Memory Care. He was born on May 31, 1944, in Louisville, KY to the late Dora and Milton Cundiff. Ron was a 1962 graduate of Waggener High School, Louisville, KY.
Upon graduating with his Electronic Engineering degree, he transferred to Michigan in 1970, where he worked with Litton Industries for over 30 years in the Detroit Metropolitan area. In 2012, Ron and Mary moved to The Villages, Fl, to live their best retired life.
Ron was a loving and devoted husband and father. He spent his leisure time golfing, playing cards and working in the yard. He loved spending time with family and friends. He also enjoyed flying his plane locally and taking trips out of state. His favorite pass time was dancing. He enjoyed dancing the jitter bug with his wife and line dancing with his daughter.
In addition to his parents, Ron is preceded in death by his wife Mary Lynn Cundiff and his brothers Ben Cundiff and Gary Cundiff, brother-in-law James Cambron and sister-in law Julia Ann Kjera. He is survived by his daughter, Kelly Cundiff; sister-in-laws Wanda Cundiff and Dee Givens; brother-in-laws David Cambron Sr. (Janice) and Robert Cambron; many loving nieces and nephews as well as great nieces and nephews.
