Robert Liles Collard, Jr., 82, passed away on June 12, 2025. He is survived by his devoted wife, Barbara Collard; his three children, Stacey Horan, Christy Henry, and Scott Collard; his sons-in-law, Matthew Horan and Joel Henry; and his cherished grandchildren, Jack Henry, Sam Henry, and Grace Henry.
Born and raised in Little Rock, Arkansas, Robert graduated from Arkansas Polytechnic College and proudly served his country as a Captain in the United States Air Force. Following his military service, he dedicated his professional life to a career in healthcare.
After retirement, Robert and Barbara made their home in The Villages, Florida, where he found great joy on the golf course and sailing his remote-controlled boat.
Above all, Robert was a beloved husband, a dedicated father, and an adoring grandfather. His quiet strength, sharp wit, and unwavering love for his family will be deeply missed and long remembered.
Robert will be interred at the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida. He requested that no public memorial service be held. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation in his honor to the Wounded Warrior Project.
