Albert F. Albin Jr., a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully on June 16, 2025, at the age of 86 in Summerfield, Florida. Born on December 14, 1938, in Indianapolis, Indiana, Albert lived a life rich in love, dedication, and service to his family and community.

A proud graduate of Cathedral High School and Purdue University, Albert’s career as a Mechanical Engineer and Salesman at Allisons Transmissions, General Motors, showcased his remarkable intellect and unwavering work ethic. He was known for his innovative spirit and his ability to connect with others, leaving a lasting impact on those who had the privilege of working alongside him.

Albert was preceded in death by his parents, Albert F. Albin Sr. and Ludmillia Albin, his brother Donald Albin, his sister Arlene Ford, and his cherished grandson, Michael David Albin. He is survived by his loving wife, Patricia (Pat) Albin, who was his steadfast partner in life, as well as his devoted children: Nancy (Matt) Hanley, Michael (Lisa) Albin, and David (Deena) Albin. Albert’s legacy continues through his five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren, who brought him immense joy and pride. He is also survived by his sister, Loretta Morrison, and a host of nieces and nephews who will remember him fondly.

Albert’s warmth, kindness, and sense of humor touched the lives of many. He was a man of great integrity, always ready to lend a helping hand or share a story that would bring a smile to those around him. His love for his family was evident in everything he did, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Arrangements for memorial services in both Summerfield and Indianapolis will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Albert’s honor to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital and The Shriners Hospital, organizations that reflect his compassionate spirit and commitment to helping others.

Albert F. Albin Jr. leaves behind a legacy of love, resilience, and dedication that will forever be cherished by his family and friends. May he rest in peace.
