Gerald A. Barrett of Wildwood, FL passed away on June 16th, 2025.
He was born and grew up in Irvington, NJ and was the youngest of 3 sons. Jerry enjoyed going to the shooting range, gardening, computers, helping animals, and supporting veterans.
He worked for Hoffman LaRoche and Johnson Control for 42 years as a stationary engineer and was a self-taught computer programmer. After retiring, he enjoyed traveling with his wife of 61 years, eventually moving to The Villages.
Jerry is survived by his wife, Josephine (Rusignuolo) Barrett, his children, Lynn (John) Helwig, Kim (Bill) Dobbs, his granddaughter, Emily Dobbs, and his brother Robert (Bobby) Barrett, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Jerry is preceded in death by his mother Anna (Dietz) Barrett, his father Charles Barrett, and his brother William (Bill) Barrett.
