Elizabeth Demo, 70, of The Villages passed away July 12, 2025.
Born Elizabeth Jensen, May 2, 1955, Toledo, Ohio.
Adopted and raised by her grandparents, Elizabeth attended parochial grade school an McCaully all girls Catholic High school. Elizabeth loved music and was a member of the Choir and played piano & guitar.
In 1978 at age 23, Elizabeth married Bobby Richards, who was stricken with severe diabetes and passed away in 1987, after just nine years of marriage.
Elizabeth met and married Carl Demo in 1997 and moved to The Villages in 2007. They were happily married for 18 years until Carl died in 2015.
Elizabeth practiced as a CNA throughout their marriage and continued to do so after her husband’s death. Being very dedicated, Elizabeth was known to many Village residents. Always on call, 24/7. Some of us knew her as “Dial a Prayer”.
Anyone, a friend, neighbor, acquaintance, and yes even a stranger, in any sort of distress, Elizabeth would somehow be there for them. If anyone had lost a loved one or a pet, she would pour out her condolences with a prayer, love, kindness and a warm smile.
Elizabeth, the most loving, caring, and considerate person any one could have ever known, was the perfect example of the Bible she was devoted to. “A Good Samaritan”
A Memorial to be announced will be held at St. Marks Evangelist In October.
