Donna Faye Terrill-Foster, born Donna Faye Sutter on November 20, 1942, in Normal, Illinois, passed away peacefully on August 6, 2025, in Sanford, Florida. She was 82 years old.

Donna’s life was marked by deep devotion—to her family, to the children she cared for throughout her career, and above all, to her faith. Her heart for children was evident through her work at The Baby Fold in Normal, IL and as the owner and operator of Kiddie Kollege Daycare in Jefferson, Wisconsin for nearly thirty years. Through her tireless dedication and nurturing spirit, she provided quality care for up to seventy children at a time. Her work left a lasting impact on countless families and helped shape the lives of many young ones during their most formative years, none more than her own children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

Family was central to Donna’s heart. She is lovingly remembered by her husband Max Foster; her sons Tracy Terrill (Becci) and Todd Terrill (Christy); and her daughter Heidi Barnes (Wes). Her legacy continues through her grandchildren: Alyssa (Luke) Pollen and Cami (Ben) Sorenson; Caytlin and Zachary (Shariden) Terrill; Clarissa (Avery) Romine, Macenzy, and Noah. Donna also delighted in being a great-grandmother to Reagan and Ewan Sorenson; Dage and Collins Terrill; and Aurik Romine. She is also survived by her sisters Doris Peavler and Mickey Smith.

Donna was preceded in death by her first husband Jerry Terrill; her parents Delmar and Clara Sutter; and her sisters Mary (Sutter) Broom and Shirley (Sutter) Tucker.

While Donna dearly loved her family, the most important relationship in her life was with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She was a devoted student of God’s Word, an active participant in church life, and a faithful prayer warrior for those around her. Her unwavering faith brought comfort to many and served as a guiding light throughout her life.

Her family takes comfort in knowing that Donna is now at home with the Lord—a truth she held close to her heart. As written in 2 Corinthians 5:8: “Yes, we are fully confident, and we would rather be away from these earthly bodies, for then we will be at home with the Lord.”

Donna Faye Terrill-Foster will be deeply missed by all who knew her. May her memory bring peace to those who mourn and joy to those who celebrate the life she lived so faithfully. A Funeral service will be held on August 9, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Village of Faith Church, 8653 County Road 127, Wildwood, FL. A visitation will take place before the service starting at 10:00 a.m. A graveside service for Donna’s family is planned for Saturday, August 16 in Watertown, WI.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts can be directed to Shepherds College, 1805 15th Avenue, Union Grove, WI 53182. This school for students with intellectual and developmental disabilities was dear to Donna and a charity she supported herself.
