Frank also embraced the joys of camp hosting, where he created lasting memories in nature with his wife.

He is survived by his brother, Michael M. Krauss (Karen), and Fred J. Krauss III, along with many nieces and nephews who cherished their time with him. Frank was preceded in death by his fathers, Frank Stopar Jr., and Fred J. Krauss Jr.; his mother, Mary J. Krauss; and his sister, Maria G. Herpy (David).

A private family ash scattering will take place, followed by a celebration of life at a later date, where family and friends will gather to honor and remember the remarkable spirit of Frank Krauss.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the IAFF Burn Foundation at www.donate.iaff.org, a cause that reflects Frank’s commitment to helping others.
