Adrienne Ames Davis, 89, passed away peacefully in The Villages, Florida on August 23, 2025. She was born on June 27, 1936 in Brooklyn, New York to Francis Ames and Catherine Winters Ames.

Adrienne graduated with a degree in Interior Design. She could refinish furniture and make slipcovers. She was amazing at matching colors and designing things. Adrienne loved doing crafts, making jewelry, was a beautiful artist and belonged to several painting clubs. Adrienne loved to travel and was fortunate to travel to many places in the USA and abroad. She loved spending time with family and friends. Adrienne loved to play golf with her beloved husband Sandy. She loved playing a good game of Canasta and Mexican Train. One of her favorite things to do was to eat at the Glenview County Club and have her glass of wine.

She is proceeded in death by her loving husband Sandford “Sandy” Davis, her parents Francis “Frank” Ames and Catherine Ames. Also, her sister Catherine “Cathie” Hartman and brother Robert “Bob” Ames.

Adrienne is survived by a niece and two nephews, 12 great niece’s and nephews and 14 great great nieces and nephews, many cousins and too many special friends to mention.
The family would like to acknowledge her care-giver and friend of 13 years, Traci Robey. You have meant so much to us over the years and we cannot all you have done.

There will not be any services. Adrienne has requested to be cremated and her ashes will be scattered at her dear friend Tracie Robey’s country property where Adrienne enjoyed visiting.
