A Summerfield woman who was found trespassing in a house for sale received additional charges for drugs found on person.
Deputies responded to a burglary, later found to involve 27-year-old Vanessa Michelle Villanueva, in the 9000 block of SE 164th Place, Summerfield, at 11 p.m. Thursday, according to an arrest report from the Marion County Sheriff’s Office. The homeowner is selling the residence, and no one should have been in there.

Upon arrival, the deputies noticed the gates around the property were closed. There was also a blue for sale sign that stated, “Highlight Reality for Sale,” posted in the front yard. The homeowner then gave them permission to go inside the home and arrest anyone within, the report said.
Due to the back door being slightly open, they decided to go through there. They called out but got no answer. As they began to search the residence, one of the deputies heard a movement coming from the southeast bedroom, the report said.
The deputies made more announcements, shortly after which Villanueva came out from the bedroom. She was taken into custody and searched, revealing less than five grams of loose marijuana in her right pocket. She later advised that she believed the community left the front door unlocked for her so she could sleep inside, the report said.
Villanueva was subsequently taken to Marion County Jail. A correctional officer taking inventory of her personal property found a clear plastic baggie of fentanyl that had fallen to the ground when they shook her pants, the report said.
The California native was ultimately charged with trespassing, possession of marijuana (less than 20 grams), possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of fentanyl and smuggle contraband into a detention facility. She was being held with bond.
