Lorraine Ann Crotteau, age 97, of The Villages, FL passed away on September 1, 2025. She was born in Appleton, WI on September 2, 1927.
Lorraine graduated from Appleton High School class of 1945. She graduated from The Business Institute (secretarial school) of Milwaukee, WI in 1946 and worked for the Medical Society as Executive Secretary in Milwaukee, WI. In 1962 she moved to Atlanta, GA and became an Executive Secretary for GE (General Electric).
After retirement, she and her sister moved to The Villages in 2001 to be closer to family. Lorraine enjoyed researching genealogy, staying connected to her extended family, and making “Care Bears” for Hope Lutheran Church, where she was member of.
She is survived by her sister Phyllis Crotteau of The Villages, FL, and was preceded in death by her father Raymond James Crotteau and her mother Anna (Justeson) Crotteau.
A small private service will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Hope Lutheran Church (capital campaign).
