Ronald Clyde Sands, 78 passed away on September 5, 2025. Ronald was born on December 9th, 1946 to Elbert Clyde Sands and Laura Glover Sands and raised in Oxford Florida.
Ronald married Shirley Lee in 1968. He loved sharing a good meal with family and friends and many trips to his cabin in the Smokey Mountains.
He is survived by his son Michael “Kevin” Sands (Robin) of Wildwood, Florida and daughter Mandy Sands Strickland of Summerfield, Florida, Four grandchildren Austin Littles, Haley Boone, Summer Willman, and Autumn Sullivan and seven great grandchildren Blaine, Harlow, Luke, Raylee, Haven, Hampton, and Harper Jr. Also long time friend Michael Gaydosh Sr.
A visitation will be held on September 11, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Beyers Funeral Home & Crematory – Lady Lake, located at 134 N US Highway 441 in Lady Lake.
