Carman Joanne Early, a beloved member of the community, passed away peacefully on September 9, 2025, at the age of 89. Carman was born in Middlesboro, Kentucky, on March 9, 1936, as the second child of Golden Hoskins Fleeman and Ernest Fleeman.

At twenty-three, she married the love of her life, Frank Early, with whom she shared the joys of parenthood, welcoming two children, Karen and Ken. Carman dedicated herself to homemaking, forming a warm and loving atmosphere for her family. Later in life, Carman and Frank enjoyed playing bridge with friends and discovered a new love for golf upon their retirement, particularly after moving to The Villages in Florida. Her zest for life and unwavering devotion to her loved ones leaves a legacy of love and togetherness.

Carman is survived by her cherished children, Karen Cooke and Ken Early, her loving sisters, Joey Roeder and Sondra Wilmoth, five adoring grandchildren: Brooke Roberts, Kevin Henderson, Michael (Casey) Henderson, Chelsea Dibetta, and Hannah Mallory. She was a doting great-grandmother to Casey’s sons, Blaine, Landon, and Lincoln, Brooke’s children, Henley, Emery, and Gunner, and Kevin’s little ones, Penelope and Adam. Carman’s kind spirit and warm presence will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Celebration of Life will be held December 29, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. Florida National Cemetery, 6502 SW 102nd Avenue, Bushnell, Florida.
