Donald A Crayne, of The Villages, FL. passed away on Thursday, September 11, 2025 at the age of 79. He was born on 08/24/1946 in Sewickley, PA where he grew up.
He worked as a Quality Engineer for the Boeing Company. He traveled the United States and Overseas checking blueprints and signing off on the quality of product being sent to Boeing from their facilities worldwide.
He was actively involved in Golf when healthy enough to play. Don loved a Cigar. Don loved his Cats
He was preceded in death by their Father-Donald L. Crayne, Mother-Marie P. Trunzo and daughter- Colleen V. Alfano.
Don is survived by his wife- Julie P. Crayne, Sister- Barbara Holmwood & husband Vern, Grandsons- Mathew Alfano & wife Becca, Joseph Alfano & wife Emily. Great Grandchildren- Vanessa, Autumn & Max. Cousins – Carol Joseph & husband Eddy, Leslie Ann Kromke and husband Peter , Anthony Trunzo & wife Patricia, Susan Bragg and husband John, Jamie Munizza, Diane Hess, David Hess & wife Lynn, John Hess & wife Sharon, Marie Guy & husband Dick, Ronnie Lippencott & wife Patty, Debbie Loveday & husband Randy, Billie Joe Crayne & wife Cindy, Judy Wood & husband Gaylord, Connie Rush and Larry Crayne .
Don & Julie met 28 years ago in Italy and have had so many wonderful adventures together.
The family would like to thank Hospice care at home provided by Vitas Healthcare for the care and compassion they showed our loved one in his final days.
