With grace and peace, Mary Ruth Keating entered eternal rest on September 23, 2025, just one day shy of her 96th birthday. Born in Nashville, Tennessee, on September 24, 1929, Mary’s life was a remarkable journey defined by resilience, faith, and a deep devotion to those she loved.
A devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Mary’s greatest joy was her family. She is lovingly remembered by her daughters, Linda Perini (Randy) and Mary Bennett (Gary); her cherished grandchildren, Greg and Ashley; and four adored great-grandchildren who brought light and laughter into her later years.
One of nine siblings, Mary grew up surrounded by love and strong family bonds. She is survived by her sisters, Nancy Kemp and Mattie Sue Aldridge, who will forever treasure the memories they shared.
Mary will be remembered for her gentle spirit, steadfast kindness, and the quiet strength that carried her through life’s joys and challenges. Her presence left an indelible mark on all who knew her, and the lessons she shared will continue to guide those she leaves behind.
In honor of Mary’s compassionate nature, the family invites memorial contributions to a charity of your choice, celebrating the legacy of love and generosity she embodied.
We give thanks for Mary’s long and beautiful life and the countless memories that will forever live in our hearts. Though deeply missed, her spirit will continue to surround us — a source of comfort, wisdom, and unending love.
