
Richard Edward Sepcic, age 90, formerly of Turtle Creek, Monroeville, Greensburg, and Murrysville (Pennsylvania); Flemington (New Jersey); and Lady Lake (Florida), passed away on September 7th, 2025.
He graduated from Turtle Creek High School in 1952, honorably served three stints in the Pennsylvania Air National Guard and Air Force Reserve from 1953 – 1961, and began a long career at Bell Telephone (now Verizon) where he worked in various technical and managerial positions with honesty, integrity, and a commitment to excellence until his retirement in 1991.
Throughout his life, Rich remained dedicated to his family, with whom he travelled inside and outside of the US whenever possible. He spoke his mind and was proud of having done things his own way.
Rich was preceded in death by his parents, Matthew (Mato) and Barbara Sepcic; by his brother Robert and sister Gloria (Strauss); by his son Mark Robin; by his first wife Helen Charlotte Otto (1958 – 2005); and by his second wife Clarene (Chris) Comer (2007 – 2016). He is survived by his three children: Richard E. Jr.; Sheryll J. (Hunt); and Randall M.; his 5 grandchildren; and his 4 great grandchildren.
The family will hold a private funeral service to honor his memory.
