An unlicensed driver from Honduras was arrested after a traffic stop at the entrance to the Village of Osceola Hills.

A deputy observed 30-year-old Luis Ricardo Peraza Vallecillo driving a dark pickup truck north on Morse Boulevard at 8:30 p.m. Friday, according to an arrest report from the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office. The headlight on the driver’s side of the vehicle was not working, leading to a traffic stop at the entrance to the Village of Osceola Hills.

The deputy asked Peraza Vallecillo for his license and was given a Honduras ID instead. Dispatch advised that he had no license issued to him out of the United States, the report said.

Peraza Vallecillo was subsequently arrested on a charge of operating a motor vehicle without a valid license. He was transported to the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office and released after posting $150 bond.
