
Marion Beckman, a beloved mother, and cherished friend, passed away peacefully on October 7, 2025, at the age of 94. Born on February 27, 1931, in Wharton, New Jersey, Marion brought joy and compassion into the lives of all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
Marion was predeceased by her parents, David and Lena Flachs, and her sister, Sarah Granetz. She is remembered by her son, Andrew Flax, his soon-to-be daughter-in-law, Maria, and her dear family friend, Grace, who remained by her side in her later years. Marion’s warmth and kindness touched everyone around her, and her legacy of love will undoubtedly continue through her family and friends.
Throughout her life, Marion exemplified kindness, generosity, honesty, and consideration. She earned an associate’s degree and made significant contributions as a Placement Counselor in the Banking industry. Her dedication to helping others find their paths in life was a testament to her caring nature and desire to uplift those around her.
A funeral service will be held in her honor on October 13, 2025, at 11 a.m. at New Beginning Community Church, officiated by Pastor Wendy Gallegos. She will be laid to rest at the Florida National Cemetery.
