To the Editor:
Our local “newspaper,” The Villages Daily Sun, is a disgusting example of news bias, total politicization of “news,” news censoring in reporting and more.
MILLIONS of people including what looked like a healthy crowd of Villagers, exercised their First Amendment rights and demonstrated peacefully on Saturday, across this nation and the world. NOTHING REPORTED in this Republican-kissing paper. They, like so many other sources , who call themselves “newspapers,” do everything imaginable to support the fascist regime in D.C. Guess what Daily Sun- millions of protesters don’t disappear just because YOU decide to protect your investment in political purchasing and not report it. Just like the 1,900 Palestinians who were returned to their totally destroyed homes….THEY ARE REAL, TOO. Just as real as the 20 Israelis handed over. Those genocide victims are real, regardless of your censorship.
It is a sorry joke that the local paper- the ONE local “award winning” paper, is so blatantly twisted enough to support this disgraceful administration and pander to what they have obviously been told what they can print. But that’s the bargain, it seems, for those who donate to keep authoritarians, racists and truth deniers in office and help annihilate this “democracy.” Or what’s left of it.
