Bill Erdman returned to our heavenly father October 17, 2025.
Loving husband to Mary Jo Erdman and loving father to Greg, (Deb), Gary, (Pam), Geoff (Sandy), Gina, Gavin, Griffen (Gina), and Genni. Grandfather to 12 dear grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Dear brother-in-law, Vince Misia (Mary) beloved uncle to several nieces and nephews.
Bill is preceeded in death by his father Edward Erdman, and mother Vera Erdman Mundt, brothers Jack (Judy) Erdman, Robert (Doris) Erdman, son-in-law Dan Janaes and former daughter-in-law Noelle Erdman.
Bill was born July 15th, 1934 in Sheboygan, Wisconsin. He attended Central High School graduating in 1952. After high school, he married Mary Ellen Phalen and had seven beautiful children. They were married 28 years.
Bill served in the army overseas in Germany as a Private 1 from January 1955 to December 1957 during which time he earned an associates Degree.
After serving in the Army Bill was hired on with Western Electric (AT&T) in Wisconsin. Soon after Bill worked his way up to a management supervisory position. In 1991, Bill retired having been employed for 40 years. His accomplishments were many.
While at Western Electric Bill met his wife of 41 years Mary Jo. They were married in 1984. Initially residing in Wisconsin then moving to The Villages, Florida in 2001-2022.
After retirement from AT&T he received his license in Real Estate selling homes in both Wisconsin and Florida.
While in The Villages Bill & Mary Jo enjoyed golfing, meeting and spending time with dear friends Kathie and Paul Actis, and many others, eating out, dancing at Katie Belles and in the squares.
In addition, Bill enjoyed fishing, reading, watching sports, walking, playing cards and computer games and eating ice cream.
