With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Gerald J Giuliani, who departed this life peacefully on October 27, 2025, at the age of 86. Born on August 20, 1939, in Montclair, New Jersey, Gerald was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and a cherished member of his community. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege to know him.
Gerald was predeceased by his loving parents, Gerald Sr. and Ethel Giuliani, his sister, Laura Callahan, as well three grandchildren, Donald Jerald Fernley, Kerri Elizabeth Fernley, and Quinn Celeste Bolton. He is survived by his beloved wife of 62 years, Carol Giuliani, their children, Lisa Bolton (John) and Christopher Giuliani (Nicole), as well as a large and loving family that includes six grandchildren: Kevin C. Fernley, Jamie Bolton, Marissa DeLuca, Tony Giuliani, Mikey Giuliani, and Joey Giuliani.
Gerald’s educational journey led him to graduate from Livingston High School, followed by further training in a technology program where he honed his skills as a computer programmer. Throughout his long and successful career in computer technology, he was known for his ambitious spirit and unwavering dedication. Gerald was not just a professional; he was a passionate member of various clubs including the model train club and bowling clubs, always finding joy in shared experiences and friendships. In his personal life, Gerald was defined by his motivated and organized nature. He possessed a loyalty that endeared him to many. He adored his grandchildren, valuing his family above all else. His interests included a love for cats and model trains, hobbies that reflected his creativity and nurturing spirit. He also enjoyed spending quality time with family and friends, further solidifying a legacy of connection and warmth. A private celebration of life will be held by the family, honoring Gerald’s memory, his achievements, and the love he fostered in his lifetime.
