A Sumterville man was arrested for stalking when he called a woman 10 times after exposing his penis to her without consent.

A deputy responded to a battery complaint in Bushnell, around 10:55 a.m. Tuesday, according to an arrest report from the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office. Darrick Ray Albert, 56, was claiming something happened, but during the investigation, it was revealed he was battered for allegedly exposing his genital to a female victim.

After meeting with the victim, she recounted an incident from Sunday. Albert had called her so she could drive him to a friend’s residence to do laundry due to him being too intoxicated to drive. She drove him there and started to drive him back when he was done. While on the road, he pulled his penis out of his pants and yelled at her to “look at it,” the report said.

The victim told him multiple times to put it away. He instead used his left hand to shake his penis from side to side, all while laughing. He then got “serious” and put his penis away. The victim put her hand down from her eyes only for him to take out his penis again and laugh while still telling her to look at it, the report said.

She was able to get Albert back to his residence, but he began calling her the next day and again on Tuesday. She told him to stop and ignored 10 of his calls. According to her, he proceeded to show up at her residence unannounced on Tuesday. She told him to leave, and he did, cursing at her and telling her to “kick rocks,” the report said.

Albert was ultimately arrested Tuesday afternoon at the Red Oaks RV Resort in Bushnell. The Wisconsin native was charged with stalking (follow/harass/cyberstalk another) and transported to the Sumter County Detention Center to be held without bond.
