Michelle Sloan Whitman, 60, passed away in Sumterville, Florida on October 24, 2025.
She was born in St. Petersburg, Florida on September 4, 1965. Michelle was a member of Gant Lake Baptist Church where she also served as a Sunday school secretary. In her younger years she was the leader of the Young Republicans Club. Michelle was a breast cancer survivor an was an advocate for other survivors.
Michelle’s career for 29 years was a paralegal at Randall G. Blankenship. She enjoyed running, boating, fishing, being outside, and on the water. She was one of five girls, born to Dudley and Nellie Sloan.
Michelle is preceded in death by her husband, James “Jim” Lee Whitman.
