It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Bill “Pops” Janssen, age 79 of The Villages. Bill passed away unexpectedly at home on Oct 31st with his wife by his side.
Bill was known for his generous heart, sense of humor, and unwavering love for his family and friends.
He is survived by his wife Sherry of 59 years; 3 children Shelly, Kim and Woody; 5 sisters Sandi, Lois, Nita, Carmen, May and his brother Don; 6 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren and many other cherished family and friends who will forever carry his memory in their hearts.
Bill retired as a proud Air Force veteran after serving his country for 26 Years. As a lifetime VFW member, services will be held at Bushnell National Cemetery by the VFW Honor Guard on Friday, Nov 7th at 10am and followed by a Celebration of Life held at the Mulberry Rec Center from 3-5pm.
