Charles F. Fisler, age 81, died in Brandon, FL on October 11, 2025. He was born on Staten Island, NY, and graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a degree in Electrical Engineering.
Charlie worked for General Electric in Utica, NY, and then for Greenlee Tool, and System Sensor (Honeywell). He received many patents and awards for his designs.
He was active in sports for many years including tennis, golf, pickle ball, shuffleboard, and running. His hobbies included playing bridge, working with stained glass, tin can crafts, and gardening. There wasn’t much he couldn’t build or fix.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara, daughters Laura and Nancy, three granddaughters, three great grandchildren, his brother Joseph and several cousins.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his memory to Parkinson’s Foundation.
