Maryfrances Bryant, 84, passed away peacefully in The Villages, Florida on November 15, 2025.
She was born in Tampa, Florida on December 10, 1940 to Herman and Elether Young. She enjoyed crocheting, making floral arrangements, and spending time in bible study. She loved the mountains and could be found fishing, hunting, and cooking. A devoted member of First Baptist Church of Linden, Mrs. Sumter County 2017 and a proud member of Eastern Star.
She is survived by her sons; William “Ray” Hurley of Lutz, Florida, Alton “Keith” Hurley (Shelly) of Land O” Lakes, Florida. She is preceded in death by her son, Edward Dean Hurley and her husband, Lemuel Bryant.
A visitation will be held at the First Baptist Church of Linden on November 29, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and the service to follow at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Jonathan Jenkins and Keith Johnson officiating. Interment to follow at the Evergreen Cemetery.
