A subsequent check of his driving history revealed multiples suspensions dating from June 2019 through Jan. 2025 for unpaid financial obligations, unpaid fines and failures to appear in court. He had also been labeled a habitual traffic offender in Jan. 2025, the report said.

Jones was arrested on charge of driving while license suspended (habitual offender) and transported to Marion County Jail. Bond was set at $2,500.
