
Jacqueline is survived by her brother: Stephen Bressi, Children: Tina Marie Mead, Wendy Rene Drake and Vance Henry Devlin. Jacki was the grandmother of seven grandchildren. Her family line was proudly extended to eleven Great-grandchildren, including one on the way. Daughter, Tami Dale Bradbury, predeceased Jacki many years earlier.
After graduating Holy Spirit High School in Atlantic City, Jacki married Vance Devlin. The couple resided in France, where Vance (Sonny) Devlin was stationed with the United States Airforce. The couple was later transferred to Oklahoma. After having three children in France, a fourth child was born in Oklahoma.
After leaving Oklahoma, Jackie moved back to Atlantic County, NJ. She married Charlie Lindsey. Their blended family included two stepdaughters, Charlotte Della Vecchia and Joan Ward. While living in Atlantic County, Jacki served thirty-three years as an employee of the177th NJ Air National Guard Squadron, based at Atlantic City, NJ from 1965-1998. For much of this time, Jacki served as secretary to the commanding officer. Jacki’s first boss, nicknamed Jacki “Airmom”. This was in response to her being regarded as a second Mom to the young airmen assigned to the squadron.
In 2007, Jacki fulfilled her dream of retiring and moving to The Villages, in central Florida. Jacki was active in the Villages Singles Club and the Villages Chapter of the Red Hat Society. Jacki also enjoyed dancing and riding around in her golf cart. Her final years were spent living in California. She enjoyed spending time with her daughter and grandchildren until peacefully passing.
Services will be private, by invitation. The family requests those who desire make a gift to the charity of their choice in lieu of flowers.
