Scott Hensley went to Heaven on Saturday November 29, 2025 after a hard fought battle with cancer.

Scott’s life was well lived! Born in Ravenna, Ohio, he served in the U.S. Navy for 4 years. He served in Naples, Italy and Guam. It was in Guam the he learned to scuba dive, which became a life long passion. He traveled to many parts of the world for work and diving. His accomplishments in diving were: ice diver, rescue diver, dive master, and instructor. It was this love of diving that brought his wife, Lynn, into his life where they shared many wonderful dive trips. Scott also loved boating, fishing and the NHRA.

Scott was a field technician for decades with Steris Corporation – servicing medical equipment at hospitals in many Florida counties.

His engaging personality brought love and laughter to anyone lucky enough to have known him. He   His son Josh has exemplified all of these same qualities. More than words can express, Scott will be profoundly missed – until we meet again.

He is survived by his wife, Lynn, his son Joshua, Josh’s wife Stephanie and 2 beautiful grandchildren, Harper and Emma, his brother Len and wife Karen, and MANY good friends.

Scott’s service will be held on Wednesday December 10th at the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida with full military honors. Time is promptly at 10:30am.
